Where are Saltney Ferry Beaver Scouts?

Saltney Ferry Beavers meet at Bradshaw Avenue Scout and Guide headquarters in Saltney Ferry. Saltney Ferry can be found on the outskirts of Chester, and is situated in Flintshire in North Wales.

  1. Who can join the section?

Our Beaver section caters for children aged between 6 and 8 years.

  1. What do Beavers do?

Lots of things. Activities include crafts, games, sleepovers, abseiling, and much more.

  1. When do Beavers meet?

Saltney Ferry Beavers meet on Wednesday evening. This is the standard meeting where Beavers learn new skills, play games, earn badges, and most of all have fun!

  1. How much does Cub Scouts cost?

Meetings cost £2 per week, and the price of trips vary. (although they are never too high)

  1. Do I need a uniform?

At first you will not require a uniform, and you will be given time to decide on whether you like Beavers. Eventually we hope you enjoy yourself, and decide to buy a jumper. The jumpers cost about £10, and the neckerchiefs £4.50.
