  1. Where are Saltney Ferry Cub Scouts?

Saltney Ferry Cub Scouts meet at Bradshaw Avenue Scout and Guide headquarters in Saltney Ferry. Saltney Ferry can be found on the outskirts of Chester, and is situated in Flintshire in North Wales.

  1. Who can join the section?

Our Cub Scout section caters for children aged between 8 and 10 years.

  1. What do Cub Scouts do?

Lots of things. Activities include camping, swimming, climbing, games, 10 pin bowling, and much more. Click the following words to look at the some previous activities, or visit website to view more recent ones.

  1. When do Cub Scouts meet?

Saltney Ferry Cub Scouts meet on Monday evening. This is the standard meeting where Cub Scouts learn new skills, play games, earn badges, and most of all have fun!

  1. How much does Cub Scouts cost?

Meetings cost £2 per week, and the price of trips vary. (although they are never too high)

  1. Do I need a uniform?

At first you will not require a uniform, and you will be given time to decide on whether you like Cub Scouts. Eventually we hope you enjoy yourself, and decide to buy a jumper. The jumpers cost £10, and the neckerchiefs £4.50.
