Scout Challenge Hike Training

Saturday 28th/29th February 2004

Saltney Ferry Scouts took part in a training weekend for the Flintshire District Challenge Hike. Helped by the Explorers they were taught map reading and navigation skills. During the weekend a local hike was held, and Scouts and Explorers slept in tents. A freezing weekend, but was still enjoyable. It was the only business the Ice Cream man got all weekend!

Oh, if only I was closer!!! The only trade the ice ream man got all day! Caught you! Spend all weekend saying pot noodles are banned, and what happens! It wasn't that bad honest! Feeding time Time to relax
